New Supplementary Volume

We are pleased to announce the publication of the sixth Supplementary Volume of HCS: the Italian translation of Carlo Sigonio's De antiquo iure civium Romanorum, edited by Mattia Balbo, Michele Bellomo, Annarosa Gallo and Federico Santangelo.

This is the first translation into a modern language of Sigonio's great treatise on Roman citizenship and republican institutions. The translation is accompanied by an apparatus of notes and an introduction by Federico Santangelo.
